Imagine a total stranger giving you a ride because you missed your stop 15 stops before because you were so tired and fell asleep. Imagine a group of credit union believers recognizing the underserved and decided to create a program focusing on development issues in our community, a program that identify and solve for challenges that prevent the financial health and prosperity of the members and communities, people helping people. Imagine a total stranger deciding to give you enough furniture that would furnish a 3 bedroom house so that you can have a start for you and your child. Those are actions of a VillageChild.

VillageChild offers sustainable technology development solutions, which in turn offer better opportunities and raise the standard of living.
Education

Food Security/Income Generation
VillageChild offers micro-lending through a community lot program, profit sharing and entrepreneurship opportunities in order to incentivize, and promote the farming profession. Creating a co-op of community based farmers.
Health & Wellness
Health provision varies around the world. Health provision is challenging due to the costs required as well as various social, cultural, political and economic conditions. The World Health Organization (WHO) identifies 4 categories of care; impoverishing care; fragmented and fragmenting care; unsafe care and misdirected care. There isn’t one answer to health care provision. The VillageChild mission is to provide access to care.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to the homes, social life and community helping to ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning. VillageChild Care Packages contribution to a family during COVID-19.
